Medabots : A Boy and His Bot!! (Vol. 1)

In 2022 kids aspire to become 'medafighters', the owners of special robots which they battle in contests. The hero of the series is Ikki, who finds a rare, stolen Beetle medallion and uses it to power a ramshackle, second-hand robot, creating - Metabee. However Metabee exhibits an obnoxious personality of his own: he refuses to obey Ikki and insults him. Student journalist and put-down artist Arika and the mean Samantha and her gang, the Screws, complete the cast.
