Burn Up : Burn Up W

In some peoples eyes Burn Up W is what any good anime should be - the tongue in cheek anime genre with loud, fast paced adventure with lots of large guns, very well endowed characters and slapstick sexual humor. Overall Burn Up W is just good fun. It's a feature that doesn't take itself too seriously, and so can be watched over and over, without becoming boring. It's the Japanese equivalent of a high school movie, full of humour, light on plot. The Warrior Strike Team represents the elite of the Tokyo police force in the not-too-distant future. Its members are women who seem to specialize in skimpy outfits: blond heroine Rio, sharpshooter Maya, computer expert Lelica, aided by techno-wizard Nanvel, shrewd commander Maki and lone, ineffectual male Yuji. They're pitted against a gang of ruthless criminals who have created a 'virtual drug', a sort of electronic mind-control system.
